Worship Studio

Application architecture

Maintainer reference.

Worship Studio has three application layers:

  • Desktop: React 19 and TypeScript render the operator workspace. Tauri 2 connects it to Rust services for native presentation, audio and storage.
  • Website: Next.js builds the public pages, documentation and account interface as static files.
  • Account service: Node.js 24 handles authentication, installer downloads, consent records and optional reporting. Production uses PostgreSQL; tests also cover SQLite.

The account service is separate from the presentation workspace. After setup, ordinary local presentation remains available when the account service is offline.

For operating the app, see the Worship Studio guide.
